Special responsibilities

Co-ordinator and main advisor of postgraduate literary research; associate director of The Finnish Graduate School of Literary Studies; member of the departmental steering committee. Other responsibilities include: board member of The International Association of Literary Semantics, The Committee on Theory of The International Comparative Literature Association, The Fulbright Commission, Finland, and Svenska litteratursällskapet I Finland (The Swedish Literature Society in Finland) and editorial board member of Journal of Literary Semantics, Nordic Journal of English Studies, Tampere Studies in Literature and Textuality and Skrifter utgivna av Svenska litteratursällskapet i Finland (Publications of The Swedish Literature Society in Finland).
